On-Campus Housing

Dorm housing is provided on campus, so you're living in the same community you're training alongside — not commuting in and out. You're a few steps from class, from chapel, and from the people walking through this season with you, which makes it a lot easier to actually do life together instead of just showing up for class and leaving.

Fellowship That Doesn't Stop at Class

After class, students gather in fellowship or head to part-time jobs. Either way, you're doing life alongside people who are chasing the same calling you are.

The rhythm of the semester is broken up periodically by revivals, mission trips, ministry tours, and HTSM events.

A Typical Day

Prayer First. Everything Else Follows.

The school day always begins with prayer and reading the Word — a set daily rhythm, not just an encouraged habit. That leads into classes ranging from practical ministry training to real theological depth, plus practical life classes on biblical marriage, parenting, and finance.

After class, it's fellowship or part-time work. And every so often, the regular rhythm gives way to a revival, a mission trip, or an HTSM event.

The Core Differentiator

Ministry Tours

HTSM runs a minimum of three two-week ministry tours every year, plus an annual admissions trip. This isn't a once-a-year field trip — it's a recurring, built-in part of how students learn to actually do ministry, in front of real people, in real places.

A Separate, Elective Program

Missions Elective

Distinct from the regular ministry tours, the missions elective sends students 6-8 weeks onto the mission field during the 1st Year or 2nd Year — a deeper, extended commitment for students who want to go further into cross-cultural ministry before they graduate.
